Teaching Jobs VNPrivacy Policy

Teaching Jobs VN ("we") is a Zalo Mini App that connects English teachers with people hiring them in Vietnam. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Mini App and to the Teaching Jobs VN Zalo bot.
1. Who is responsible
The app is run by the Teaching Jobs VN team. For any question about your data, contact us at contact@teachingjobs.vn.
2. Data we collect

We do not collect your phone number, and the app never displays one. You do not upload any files: documents are only declared, never uploaded or checked. We do not process payments.
3. Who can see your data
- Teachers can see the jobs that are open and their details (title, description, teaching mode, area, start date, pay, closing date). They do not see who posted the job until that person contacts them on Zalo.
- People hiring can see the profile (name, picture, area, introduction, availability, declared documents) of each teacher who applied to one of their jobs, and nobody else's.
- When a person hiring chooses to contact a candidate, the app opens a Zalo chat with that teacher. Zalo, not us, handles the conversation.
4. Service providers
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that run the service for us:
- Zalo (VNG Corporation): runs the Mini App, provides your Zalo identity, carries the chats and the bot messages.
- Railway: hosts our server and database.
- Sentry: receives technical error reports.
- Photon (komoot): when you type a location, the text you type is sent to this map service to suggest Vietnamese places. Like any web request, it also receives your phone's IP address. No account data is sent with it.
Some of these providers may store data outside Vietnam. We only share what each one needs to do its job.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is in use. Jobs and applications stay visible to the people concerned after a job closes, so that both sides keep a record. If you ask us to delete your account, or withdraw your consent from the Mini App's permission page in Zalo, we delete your profile, the copy of your Zalo name and picture, your jobs, your applications, your bot link and the history of notifications sent to you. Error reports are deleted automatically after 90 days at most. Deleted data can remain in our database backups until they expire, at most 4 weeks later.
6. Your rights
Under Vietnamese personal data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it (you can also edit your profile in the app);
- delete it, or stop using it;
- withdraw a permission you gave. In Zalo, the Mini App's permission page (Quản lý quyền) lets you turn off its permissions or delete its data: we are then notified and delete all your data automatically (section 5). You can also write to us, and stop the bot at any time.
Write to contact@teachingjobs.vn from the Zalo account concerned, or tell us how to identify it. We answer as soon as we can, within the time limits set by law.
7. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored on access-controlled servers. Only the team running the app can reach the database.
8. Children
The app is meant for adults looking for or offering teaching work. You must be at least 18 to use it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app when the change matters.
